Are you an experienced developer looking to expand your career into Developer Relations? This position is ideal for developers eager to step into a more community-focused role while leveraging their technical expertise to advocate for and support other developers.

  • Key Responsibilities
    Developer Advocacy: Use your technical knowledge to gather and communicate developer feedback, advocating for community needs within the product and engineering teams.
  • Content Creation: Create a variety of developer-oriented content, including blog posts, documentation, tutorials, and videos, to help others effectively use our products and tools.
  • Community Engagement: Build and nurture a developer community, participating actively on social media, forums, Slack channels, and other platforms.
  • Public Speaking & Events: Represent the company at conferences, webinars, and meetups, delivering presentations, hosting technical demos, and organizing developer-centric events such as hackathons or workshops.
  • Feedback Loop: Act as a bridge between external developers and internal teams to help improve our product offerings and ensure a great developer experience.
  • Open Source Involvement: Engage with open-source communities, either by contributing to projects or managing initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Cloud & DevOps: Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for creating content and interacting with the community.
  • Public Speaking: Willingness to develop skills in public speaking, delivering webinars, and representing the company at events.
  • Community Building: Interest or experience in building online developer communities through social media and other channels.
Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of software development experience, with a desire to transition into developer advocacy.
- Experience with open-source projects (contributing or managing).
- Eagerness to grow in event participation, including speaking at conferences, leading workshops, and organizing meetups.
- Familiarity with content creation platforms (e.g., blog management systems, video editing tools) is a plus.
