Workflow Engine by Optimajet is an embeddable .NET workflow engine, and Workflow Designer is its visual editor. Workflow Engine Free and Workflow Engine are the same library, called from your C# code. Workflow Engine Free costs nothing, and Workflow Engine is sold in two editions, Team and Complete.

Workflow Engine NEO is a separate product based on Workflow Engine, and you host it on your own servers. It comes with Workflow Designer, the same visual editor as Workflow Engine. Its four editions cover internal apps that need the HTTP API, public web apps and SaaS, and products that ship the engine inside.

Form Engine is a separate product family for forms in React. Form Engine Core renders forms from JSON and is free to use under the MIT license (opens in a new tab), with its code on GitHub (opens in a new tab). Form Engine Designer is the visual editor that builds them, and a free online version of it is on formengine.io.

The pricing page of workflowengine.io shows the prices of Workflow Engine and Workflow Engine NEO and the limits of Workflow Engine Free. Workflow Engine NEO Enterprise is priced on request. The seven Workflow Server editions are compared on workflowengine.io, and Form Engine's license agreement is on this site. Workflow Server's price list comes from sales.

Workflow Engine Free can be used at no cost for personal projects and within your company, with attribution. Form Engine Core is free to use under the MIT license. Commercial use of Form Engine Designer outside its free online version requires a paid license. All other products of the Workflow Engine Family require a paid license. Source code access is also available with selected paid editions of the Workflow Engine Family.
